i work on a marine base and where i work there is alot of drill instructors these ladies at work know almost all of the drill instructors on that base we call them by last names and they look out the window of the store we work at and say oh there's romero or oh that's brooks or that johnson................I just started seeing one and his name is mitchell we've been seeing each other for a month everything is going well...this lady keeps telling me oh i talked to mitchell today oh i saw him last night when i was talking to romero because she goes to see drill instructors at night by their barracks i let that one go because he paid no attention to her last night she never knew his name until she saw us hanging out and found out what is going on between us and now when we are closing the store she yells out to her friend oh hiedi is that mitchell out there is that him is that him.......what does that mean? was she trying to make me get mad or does she want him.......what should i do?

Girl, she is just trying to piss you off. deep down she knows you all are talking and she know he likes you not her. that upsets her because she would like to have a chance at him like you, but she can't. Just tell yourself "So What!" Let her like him, at least that means you have good taste in men. don't pay any mind to her when she trys to see if it is him outside. She justs wants to get a rise out of you. just kill her with kindness. That always works best. Just let it go. Thats the best thing. But I know deep down you just wanna puch her. But don't. That wont solve anything

truth be told, women can be very competitive, caddy, and plain mean. i think she is well aware that you and Mitchell are dating and she wants to see if she can sabotage it just for fun. i doubt he was ever the source of conversation before you started dating him. whether or not she likes him is not important because in truth she just wants to instigate problems. if he's a real man, her prancing about won't even phase him, because he's seeing you, not her. don't fight over him. just let him keep coming to you and soon she'll fade away. she's jealous because you have a man plain and simple. just ignore her sophomoric attempts to get at you.

You need to realize your that your co-worker is a low-class loud mouth. You need to decide whether you want to pay attention to such a person in your life. You need to decide if you want a relationship where you must "keep tabs" on someone you've known for only a month.
After that, go eat some ice cream.

It simply means she is trying to give you some rivalry.
You're working on a marine base. Are you a marine?
If so, show some of that Marine backbone and screw her!
On the other hand, you shouldn't be so insecure. He is dating you, not some loud-mouthed chick who desperately needs to call attention to herself :-)

You have to have faith that your man will put her in her place if she crosses the line. She either likes your guy or she doesn't like you. You might want to ask her politely, "What do you think of Mitchell?" If you put her on the spot, she might be embarrassed to cross you in the future.

It does sound like she may be interested. I think that you should approach her and come right out and ask her. Is it possible that she doesn't know that you are dating him? Be mature about it or else you'll end up looking stupid.

look her staright in the eyes when you are away from everyone else. and tell her in a straight voice, "Don't mess with my man." or something to that effect.
this should intimidate her, and if she asks you any questions just dont say anything or start arguing, just tell her you are going to leave it at that.

FIRST TELL HER SHE WAS CORNY FOR THAT THEN TELL HER IF SHE DIDN'T KNOW U 2 ARE SEEING EACH OTHER THEN IF SHE DOES IT AGAIN STOP TALKING TO HIM FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS AND IF SHE TRYS TO TALK TO HIM WHATEVER SHE DOES START TALKING BACK TO HIM TO LET HER KNOW THAT HE IS URS AND U CAN HAVE HIM IF U WANT HIM.
