I heard that it is 18. I already know you have to be 21 to drink alcohol anywhere in the U.S. but wasn't sure about bartending, specifically in Texas.

I am a bartender in Texas, and the age is 18. You also need to be TABC certified (Texas Alcohol and Beverage Commission). This means you understand the laws and are legally responsible for your patrons.
