I believe that had Israel been allowed, they wouldn't have stopped until the country was brought to its knees. Whats worse is the US sanctioned the attacks by not even trying to stop the fighting until they had inflicted massive damage to Lebanon. The ordinance was left behind intentionally to inflict more carnage.

Let me guess reading comprehension wasn't your top subject.
"Even the metallic gray canister that Marwa held up, the size of a battery with a head that looked like a cigarette lighter, had some allure for the children."
Where did toy come out of that?
Unexploded munitions are STILL being found in Japan, Berlin, London, Africa, Vietnam and a hundred other places where major bombings have taken place in recent years. It is called a dud.
There is no evidence or reason to believe Isrealis left booby trapped anything. The articles refer to unexploded munitions. Nothing intentional in any of these articles. These were bombs that dropped and did not explode or were supposed to explode around Hezbolhaha irregulers.
One point I am curious about is. Hezbolahaha knew that anywhere they fired missles would attract Isreali fire. These missles could have been fired from open fields. Why was Hezbohaha intentionally endangering civillians who they personally knew to be in the area? If I were fighting the Isrealis the LAST thing I would do would be to fire a missle from an inhabited town. Might as well shoot the people in the town yourself if you do that.
I am NOT a Conservitive. Nor a Liberal. Two screaming heads on the same monster. I hate the monster and hate the heads on it.

Regarding cluster bombs, give credit where it's due. You're right.
HOWEVER, there were no booby trapped toys. Some cluster bomblets were wrapped in some sort of plastic which might have looked interesting to kids...but don't imply that Israel rigged up barbie dolls that were really bombs. They didn't.
Does this make Israel bad? If you look at this issue and this issue only, then yeah I guess. But again that would be to take things out of context. The target of these cluster bombs was militants. The target of Hezbollahs terrorist rockets was to kill civilians. Israel still has the moral high ground....only it's not quite as high as it used to be.

Yet another fabrication by a liberal. There is no story (other than things like this from conspiracy theorists) that Israel booby-trapped toys to attack the Hezbos. This is yet another ploy by th euber-libs to try and make something look so horrific and then sensationalize it as truth. Disgusting ######## Once again.. Bia Bia with a complete boldface lie. Israel IS a legal and soverign state/country. And notice she does not denounce ANYTHING dealing with the terrorists in Hezbo or other places PURPOSELY killing women and children. But she vilifies the unfortunate collateral damage that will happen in every war.

Your completely off base. As with even regular bombs, a number will fail to detonate. A bad fuse or altitude setting lead to duds. The sub munition is designed to take out area targets , armor, troop concentrations. They are not toys in any way and are not toy like in appearance. However the curious or souvenir hunter are dumb enough to pick them up. So As I said your question is wrong and misleading in that you make charges that have no basis in fact. The articles you gave explained that to you, but you failed to comprehend the information. If the Lebanonese had a lick of sense they would keep all people from the area until cleared by EOD teams. But Lebanon's gov't seems in capable of commanding a rubber duck in a bath tub.

Hezbollah terrorists (not fighters but cowards who deliberately target civilians and then use them as human shields) started the latest fighting not Israel. Cluster bombs are the most effective weapon for destroying the type of launchers being used. Finally if you believe everything you read in Pravda (NY Slime) you are totally niave. So many "horror" stories from Lebanon were fabricated to have an anti Israel slant.

Why do you lie and deceive?
There were some bombs/munitions that failed to explode. This is NOT the same thing as consciously setting traps.
YOU are one of the reasons the world is in the sorry shape it is in. Go play soccer with those cluster bombs.

Why does Lebanon, Iran, and Syria support terrorist groups such as Hezbollah and Hamas? Why does Hammas strap themselves with bombs and kill innocent Israelis and themselves? Why did Hezbollah murder hundreds of U.S. Marines in Lebanon and why do they launch Iranian missiles into Israel? Why did terrorists bomb a train in Spain? Why did Al Queada hijack planes and crash them into the Pentagon, and Twin Towers? Why did a Omani terrorist blow up a passenger liner killing 238 people? Why did the PLO kill nine children three adults and injure 20 people? The list goes on and on shall I continue?

That same lie was used by the SAME people during Vietnam, claiming that we dropped colorful toy like plastic explosives that children would pick up and detonate....what rubbish. I can not express to you the contempt I feel for those that spread such false propaganda.
