ok i have a question so my boyfriend and i are wanting to to get married. but do we have be married to live in navy housing?

my hubby is in the navy, if you want to live on base you have to be married. if your bf is e5 or higher he can live off base and you can live with him. we just got married and we live off base. we get more money now that we are married, too. good luck!

The simplest answer is Yes. If you aren't married you're boyfriend would live in the barracks. Only married couples qualify for base housing.

It could have changed since I lived in military housing but when I lived there you did have to be married. On the upside though I had a lovely duplex! :)
