Are psychics real?

Is there anyone out there that truely believes in psychic abilities.If so, have you had any experiences.

Most are phony, but yes. When I think of someone for no apparent reason...they suddenly show up or call. Dreams are very strong also. When I was 3 years old...I was being given a bath and I had a terrible vision. I screamed and told my sister that Grampa fell down the stairs and broke his head! She tried to comfort me and when I went downstairs to my parents I told them the same thing. I was very upset. Twenty minutes later the phone rang and my Grandfather had been painting the stairway, fell down the stairs, and was on the way to the hospital with a fractured skull. (He lived). I prefer not to call these things "psychic," but rather thank God for the gift of prophecy.

I think I should add here that this is not something that I concentrate on practicing. If God gives me a vision in a dream I believe He is speaking to me and wants me to listen.

I do not believe that spirits of Humans once they pass from death (the physical world) into the spiritual world can interact with those still alive however I do think that Believers communicate via the Holy Spirit with God and I believe that certain Angels and Demons have the ability to interact with humans on this earth.

As a child, six years old, my father took me to a paper recycling plant to drop of a trunk full of newspapers for money. While there I was away from my father looking where someone had dropped thousands of computer punch cards, the ones with holes in them, before the age of the modern day computer. While there I actually saw some twinkling light that caught my imagination and I just had to go pick up that card that twinkled. Just as I moved a huge bail of compacted papers dropped from off a three high stack and grazed my back and hit the gound with a loud thump. If I had not moved, when I did, in that direction I would have been crushed and killed. My father, after grabbing me and holding me for a while, tried to pick up that bail of paper that was about 4ft by 4ft by 4ft, or 4ft cubed, and he couldn't hardly budge it. Chance you might say but I know I saw light flashing or twinkling from that punch card and felt compelled to go over to it, out of curiosity. I have no doubt that angels/demons can interact with the physical world. You may have been more interested in people who claim to talk to the dead and speak with the dead or can read minds but I can only speak as to what happened to me and my experiences.

If you consider psychic abilities like telling the future, I would say they are probably just better at determining what the future might exactly hold.

I don't care how many police departments claim to have been aided in any investigations by psychics. I don't buy the notion that phenomena like that actually occurs.

Being psychic isn't real. It is just another way of talking to Satan and God's fallen angels, demons. Be careful what you get yourself into. And God loves you very much! :D

Yes - definitely. Everything else you should find out on your own.It's a journey like any other in life... Also, be carefull. As with any gift, some use it for thier own benefit or do not use it with the required knowledge.

There are some that can reach across, but but very few, although we may all have it in our brains, but are unable or capable to use it. And of course there are millions of fakes out there.

I haven't had nor do I desire to have an experience with one. However, they are mentioned in the Bible. I would not trust one on TV though.
