Why do dogs get sick from eating eggs?

dogs were not meant to eat eggs and he is most likely allergic to them. if they make him sick stop feeding them to him.

I've never had a dog get sick from eating eggs - as a matter of fact some dog foods contain eggs. Dogs probably shouldn't eat raw eggs, nor should they have a lot.

Your eggs may have been bad or possibly raw? Dogs love eggs and I have never had a dog get sick from eating them.

Dogs shouldn't get sick from eating eggs unless they have an allergy. Some pet foods contain eggs which is a good source of protein. Are you sure that your dog isn't getting into something else???

My dogs have never gotten sick from eating cooked eggs. If your dog ate raw eggs that may make him sick. Or mabe eggs just disagree with your dog or he's allergic to them.

Are they cooked or raw, and how many are you giving him?
An egg once or twice a week is enough, some say cook them some don't, I used to mix a raw egg with their meal.My dogs were ok with them. How old is your dog?

they don't unless they're allergic. My dog eats them all the time and same with my friends and my uncles. My uncles dog's diet is made up of eggs rice and chicken.

I did not think dogs would get sick from eating eggs....hummmm...maybe he is allergic...That's all i can think of!!!

Mine doesn't get sick from them. He likes them. Especially scrambled. Think it is good for their coat.
