I believe in mates and lust at first sight, but not either of what you said. Here's a question for those of you who believe in soul mates:
By soul mate, you mean that your two souls are perfect complements to each other, right? Is there any guarantee that your soul mate lives in the same time period as you? If so, would they have to live in an area accessible to you? Speak the same language? In other words, does your soul mate have to be someone you'll meet in your life and have the opportunity to bond with or not? If so, wouldn't it be possible that there are others outside of these constraints who complement you just as well, and what does this mean for the concept of soul mates?

Soul mates, yes. I believe we all have around 100 or so compatible people around the country/globe that we can live with in happiness and contentment, and that we either meet these people or we don't. Time and circumstance happen, we do or we don't. One of the reasons it great to have lots of friends with connections, lol.
Love at first sight? Definately! I believe you can fall in love through the mail or over the phone! I just depends on the two people involved!

Soul Mates, yeah. Mos Deff everyone has MUTIPLE SOUL MATES (not just one for each person). But love at first sight, Thats some Metaphysical type ****. You gotta be like Johnny from DeadZone to actually pull that off and actually know from without a single word taht person is the one you spend your life with.

Love at first sight is possible but mostly not. Soul mates is definitely a chance and I found mine after many years and two failed marriages. It can happen.

I definitely believe there are soul mates out there but love develops with time and over time as you get to know someone. I do though believe in infatuation at first sight and many times we confuse infatuation with love but Love last where infatuation almost always dies or changes with time.

Soulmate, yes but not love at first sight, it's more like attraction at first sight, in love with a person takes time. People confused about being truly in love with attraction per se.

Love at first sight? Yes! The first time I saw my wife-to-be it was like a brick wall fell on me. We've now been married almost 48 years.
