everything is bad for your hair. did you use bleach or haircolor? and was your hair dyed previously to the highlighting job? did it come out like you expected it to?
if it dried your hair out just use a rich moisturing conditioner to repair your hair. or a protein treatment once every 2 weeks.
you need to be more specific.
if you dont like how it came out, i can probably lead you in the direction to fix it, just let me know.

Hell yeah it's bad cuz it can damage your hair real bad,I don't know if it's true but I heard that some hair dye's can give you cancer,so I suggest you don't try it but if you want to do it then that's just you!

Why would it be bad, did you do a terrible job and are ashamed to show your head in public. If it looks alright I can't find a problem there.
