Try white strips...

or, you can rinse with diluted hydrogen peroxide (mix it with equal parts water) and rinse your mouth (just swish it around for a few minutes). This will remove any slight yellowing of your teeth, and it is a lot cheaper than the white strips...

Good Luck :-)

Your dentist can whiten your teeth, but if you don't want to go the expense, there are things in the drugstore that work pretty well. I've used Crest White Strips. There are also whitening toothpastes, but they aren't really strong enough to do the job. Some people have naturally dull teeth. Are you taking certain antibiotics like tetracycline? That has a tendency to make the teeth kind of grayish colored. Also, if you smoke, drink a lot of coffee or tea, those things can stain the teeth. Brushing alone is good for the teeth and gums, but will not necessarily make the teeth pearly white. See what your dentist recommends. Good luck!

I switched from our regular Colgate Total tooth paste to "Colgate Total whitening" I just forgot about it and used this at least 2 times a day. Our teeth are whiter now.
Brush and get all your teeth coated with a little foam and then brush to remove the tarter at the gum line about 2 mins. Then rinse very well with water.
After a few weeks I ask my husband if his teeth were whiter and he said he had been thinking they were looking whiter. [he didn't know about the whitening toothpaste as we were already using Colgate total. Our teeth are whiter. My bottom were more yellowish and I can tell a difference now.
Once I used Simply White at night for 14 days. $1. It does work but that gets old before the days are up. You are not supposed to keep using the whiteners. They will make your teeth worse. So if you want to use one to start with that will be fine. If you think using a new toothpaste would be to simple. No fuss no muss.
Every ones teeth are not WHITE and they do look kind of odd and out of place on some people.
Use moderation in all things.

Actually, there are natural ways to whiten, like rubbing the inside of an orange peel on your teeth. The citric acid will start to remove stains. There are also pastes you can make.

Here's one:
Strawberries have been used for centuries to whiten teeth! Who knew? Here is an easy and delicious way to have pearly teeth that is simple to do and tastes great, and--best of all--it really works!

Strawberry Magic Tooth-Whitener - Formula
3-6 ripe strawberries
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon cream of tartar (I've seen this in the grocery store in the baking section)
1 cup water

1. Puree the berries in a blender and pour into a small dish.
2. Using a cosmetic brush or your toothbrush, paint the strawberry paste on your teeth and let sit on teeth for 5 minutes.
3. Mix 1 teaspoon of the baking soda and the cream of tartar into the cup of water. Swish this mixture around in your mouth.
4. Brush your teeth with the teaspoon of plain baking soda.
5. Rinse with cool, clear water.

I also read that Ultrabrite toothpaste is the best for whitening, without added abrasives.

Bleaching kits or bleaching strips. If you want to look like a celeb, with teeth as white as chicklets gum, pay $650-800 per veneer tooth cover (insurance will not cover cosmetic dental work). Veneers on all your showing teeth could cost you thousands. Best bet is a bleaching kit. You can but a Rembrant kit at the store, keep the trays and just continue to buy refills. Or you can pay your dentist about $250 or so to make custom molded flexible trays that fit your teeth exactly, and refill bleach tubes (about $10 each). This is what I use because #1, I can close my mouth while I am bleaching,#1 you can't really tell I am wearing them if I have to run out for anything at the store, #3 they bleach the coffee stains between my teeth because they fit my teeth exactly. Custom trays beat the generic Rembrant trays.

Our teeth are not white. They are a yellowish color by nature. Most people whiten them. As we get older, our teeth get darker. Brushing them too hard can cause damage to the enamel, and the gum tissue around your teeth. Never use more pressure than what two fingers deliver. Be thorough, but not rough. You could go to the dentist and get a custom whitening kit. Dental offices usually run specials, and I have seen them as low as $99. They take impressions to make custom trays, and you put a gel whitening solution in the trays and apply it to your teeth. Different products require different times on the teeth, and can cause sensitivity. I have never tried it, but some people have used the crest whitening strips that you get at the store & have been happy with the results. A white bright smile does look younger, and pretty. Good luck in what ever you decide!

Try using toothpaste with baking soda in it, not just baking soda alone b/c it is too abrasive to the enamel of your teeth. Everyone is different and has different shades of teeth. Try the baking soda toothpaste first then if that doesn't work, the crest white strips work if your teeth arn't to crowded in the front, if they are a little crowded your best way to get whiter teeth is to get a bleaching kit from your dentist. :)

If you brush your teeth for 2 minutes thouroughly and twice everyday. If you have done this for at least two months and your teeth aren't white yet, then its probably staining from previous years. There are a lot of name brand products out there you could use. Whitestrips, blah blah blah, there is just too much, yahoo or google it.

You know what, natural teeth come in two colours: light yellow and light grey. Teeth are not supposed to be gleaming white. If you wnat your teeth to be a nicer colour, go to the dentist (have your teeth professionally cleaned, then if they are still too yellow for you, get the dentist to do their whightening).
