Well the way that I see it is normal is what the society as a whole has set with "standards" and the abnormal is when a person kind of takes the road less traveled.

Good question but I think were all a little abnormal in our own way. We are all so different in so many ways that I think it's more about how your raised and what your use to.

The problem with your question is that "normal" has nothing to do with what any individual considers "normal." Normal is dictated by statistics. What I consider normal has no meaning at all.

I agree: There is no true "normal". Anyone who claims he/she is normal is the craziest of everyone. But maybe in terms of social acceptance? or prevelance? I'd say it's common to have mood swings, doubt oneself, experience great joy and deep sorrow, and finally to be continually learning. Some things that probably aren't too healthy would be someone who's completely numb, can't express/understand his/her emotions, doesn't question anything in life. Those traits in people are scary.

Abnormal, exclusion of self from everyone else, two personalities, and all those other stuff. Normal is anything else, in my opinion.
