I had success on Match.com (the only site I've tried). The only compaint is that people aren't always honest about what they want. Either they pretend that they want something serious, when they just want a fling or vice versa.
If you go the online dating route, I suggest that you meet people right away. It sucks to develop a connection with someone only to realize that the chemistry was imagined when you meet face to face.

NO i believe in getting off your a$$ and looking in the real world.NOt hiding behind a computer screen,to find your true love!!How corney!!Im sure you would do better if you didnt go to these dating sites,its just full of loosers or ugly people who dont have the self-asteem to go up to a person and ask them out!SO why do you even want to go there?Good luck and i hope you find mrs.right!!

they work as long as both parties are totally honest. I met my wife on TRUE.COM and we have never been happier. before we met in person we exchanged emails for a week, then we exchanged phone calls for another week(they averaged 3 hours in length). Our 1st phone call was 4.5 hours, it was as if we just clicked. Plus True.com weeds out all the people who have criminal records...they do an extensive background check....hope this helps and HAPPY HUNTING FOR LOVE

hey there...not too sure about "date sites", but coming from someone also in the psychology field.....it can get kinda "hairy" out there!
try somewhere local to hang out.....i never really had too much luck on there...match.com isn't too bad though...good luck!
