So...I bought 2 cats when they were just kittens. One is playful, the other very shy. Today I was petting the playful one and he started go crazy and clawed up my arms. Then he ran to the front door where he proceeded to crap all over the floor. Frustated, I made him go outside and cool off. When he finally looked like he was ready to come back in, I went to pick him up and he hissed at me. Well I had enough by now. So I took him to the sink to give him a bath (keep in my mind he had poo all over himself...liquid poo to be exact) After the bath I took him outside, where it was warm, so I could dry him off. He started to run away so I just let him go. As soon as I came back inside, he was at the door whining to get in. So I opened the door, and he ran off. This happened a few more times, until finally I just grabbed him. When I got him back in he stayed at the doorway. When the other cat walked up to him, he hissed. I walked up to him and he hissed and arched his back. Why?

Well, I recently bought a Ball Python, but he doesn't even care that it's there. Uhh, other than that, no new scents. I rarely where cologne(unless a special occasion)

Something freaked him out..
If after a couple days the behavior remains, he might have lost it..
Happens rarely, but it happens..
There might be a female in heat around or something too..
:-)

It looks like they got into an argument and he took his bad mood out on you. Also, he is feeling bad. It's time to get him fixed very soon - probably in about a month. You didn't say if the other kitten is male or female. Dominance issues and territorial behaviors are developing. Naughty cat! Small hooligan. I bet he's cute as anything. When my kittens got fixed, the male wore a soft collar like a little lampshade to keep him from licking his balls. After a few days, he decided it was a lion's mane and he started to strut his stuff around the house. I then put one on the female and they got into a fight. They scared each other. Off came her lampshade and they stopped fighting.

Sometimes cats sound angry when they're actually in pain. He could be very sick and just had a case of the runs.
We thought that my cat had FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus--no not an std) and he would hiss when ever we bothered him and couldn't keep it in the litter box =( He was about that young and we were all scared and spent thousands at the vet... turned out to be nothing but you should still have your cat checked out.

my cat has NEVER hissed at me. and would probably lose 4 of his nine lives if he did :) but i will say that cats are quite funny acting at times. i got my cat b/c he acts just like a dog. he loves everybody. runs up to everybody. but my cat has a think with feet, not arms. i have a friend whose cat has a thing for arms. i think it's how they play. if i am walking around the house too much, he waits for me to stop, then pounces on my feet (bites them, scratches them, usually breaks the skin). yes, this drives me crazy, but i know he's playing. the cat was probably using his playful (yet animal) instincts when he scratched you. not sure about the hissing or pooping :)

are they both the same gender? perhaps it´s jealous of the other one, or feels threatened. You should take him to the vet right away.
This story of yours reminds me of a male kitty my girlfriend had many years ago, he had an attitude problem, he used to bite every one around real bad, he wouldn´t let go until he felt blood on his mouth, which actually used to make him more crazy. After a short time, we got sick of that cat and we sent him to my grandmother´s farm and he turned all it´s violence against other male cats, and not long after that he became the most sweet and relaxed cat I can remember.

Sounds like something is going on medically perhaps. Get him to the vet, tell your story and have bloodwork done to see if there is a chemical imbalance or some underlying health problem. Cats don't just turn like that.

Hmmm.... well deff take him to the vet. Maybe he got into something that's toxic to cats and it's making him act crazy and irregular. There's actually a suprising amount of things out there that can make animals act nuts if they get into it.

That's a real puzzle. How is he doing? Does he still have the diarrhea? He might need to be treated for that as he will get very dehydrated if it continues.

Had you been around another animal that he caught the scent of? Or are you wearing a new perfume? New smells sometimes make my cat act strange...

is your cat fixed? an over does of testosterone might have some affect or he could have been upset by something or since you described runny poop he might be sick. keep an eye on his behavior closely but give him some space to cool off first.
