wolves mate for life, typically only the alpha male (the leader in the pack) and his mate will breed. wolves live in societies that are highly structuralized. the alpha leads the hunt, eats first, and dominates over the rest of the pack. wolves also have been known to be very successful on their own. they are very good at organized hunts, and very cunning when hunting solo. wolves have been classified as the same species as dogs roughly a decade ago. there are many types of wolves, and now there are many hybrid wolf/dogs out there, though they need a lot of space and a very specialized upbringing.

Wolves are a type of wild dogs. They are allways in groups. When a wolf is born it is called a cub. The cub is in not actually taking cared of from its original parents. The cubs are put together and tought different things by all the wolves. The wolves take care of all the cubs, not just their own.

yes, and in Algonquin park you can watch wild wolves safely and while feeding. My daughter and her boyfriend did.
