Actually, I think that faygo is one of the fizziest because it is actually quite difficult for me to, well, burp, but once drinking an orange Faygo I belched the loudest and fullest than before, So I would have to say faygo or... hmm... From your list? Spirte is hands down one of the least on this list, Pepsi and Coke being on the medium, rootbeer, maybe a medium high, I have never had F&N Grape, but I choose it as the fizziest. It is root beer. Diet coke was used in the mentos reaction not because it has the most carbonation, but the way the porous surface of the candies reacted with the carbonation, and the other ingredients reacted with each other. but the higher choice here would be root beer. Try taking an even glass of each of the 5 brands you listed, at teh same temperature, and see which one you could chug the most of, and the least of, and you will know. The carbonation would burn your throat either more, or less.

I would say 7-Up but you did not include it as an option. Try this at party sometime. Get serval bottles of 7-Up (Unchilled) and then fill up a several relatively large glasses of the same size and see who can drink their glass down the quickest. Most will not be able to do it and it is fun to watch them try.

Depending on the age (freshest is best) and the temperature (COLD is best!), I would have to pick Sprite. Due to the lack of caffeine, the carbonation seems more fizzy.

Sprite very carbonated and with a less strong taste so that taste really comes out. I hear doc pepper is pretty carbonated too, but i don't drink the stuff so i can't say.
