It depends on allot of factors...College in itself cannot ruin your relationship. But some things that happen while you are in college can affect the love you have for each, and the level of commitment you feel. Are you both going to the same college? That helps...when you are in two seperate colleges, you are in esscence leading two seperate lives, and that doesn't help when you need to relate to one another. When you don't have anything in common when it comes to the things you do, ie, same parties, same classes, same people...then it turns into a long distance relationship, and that can hurt your love because you are no longer sharing one life. If you are going to the same college, then thats great! Congrats on going to college too, BTW. Ok, back to the point. Studying and staying up late areas working can cause allot of stress, which can lead to fighting and anger isssues about nothing important. Meeting other people at college can also play a part..where as you knew everyone in High School, there are a ton of new people at college that you have yet to get to know.
But I believe that if you two are truly commited and in love, that you can overcome anything. Are you sharing an off-campus apartment? Or better yet, are you married?? Things like that strengthen your bond. Trust each other when you go out to do seperate things, and love each other when you are together. If you can remember that, and you truly believe that you are destined for one another, then everything will work out. Remember to ALWAYS communicate (I cannot stress this point enough), because neither one of you can read minds. Ig you know how the other one feels about something that is going on, then you can be honest and approach it together, whether then fighting over it. Best Wishes!!!

college should kill a relationship. but behing apart for a few year because of college in separate state would put a relationship to the test. Usually, it is not recommended to get into a serious relationship until your 25 years old or atleast after your success is realized.
I think if 2 is good for eachother, long distance relationship can be a great thing. People don't fall in love when they are together. They fall in love when they are apart.
Good luck
