i don't know but it's not good for you unless a doctor prescribe it for you

If you took a valium (1) it will remain identifiable in urinalysis for 7-10 days, and they do show up as a barbiturate, Trying to convince an employer you don't take drugs without a prescription will require some well thought out lies. Avoid the trouble next time your stressed and "Just say NO!" Taking drugs is no joking matter and I hope you don't develop a problem from it.

Take hugs...not drugs

that all depends on your system! Why did you take the Valium? For stress reasons? If so you likely won't have much of a problem if it reduced your stress time! Valium isn't the best
thing to take for stress though! Many doctors do recommend that for stress though I'm not one of them! I think the herb Valerian is far better for stress relief. Really want to flush out toxic drugs quickly... then try Dandelion tea
or Clover tea.. these will do that... warning you'll best be near a washroom that has a toilet
in it! (Some Laundrymats have washrooms that have no toilets because the Washrooms are for washing clothes! Beside these Laundrymats there maybe a restroom (not for sleep) in by gas station where one pays for gas for their vehicle) Another herb this one can counter side effects of some drugs not just
merely flush it out... The herb is Skull Cap!

valium is a benzodiazepine, which is a class of fat soluble drugs. Traces of valium will stay in the body a long time and show up on a drug test for 30 days or more....As for the effects of valium, it has a half life of 200 hrs in the blood...FYI, It's risky (and illegal) to take drugs that aren't prescribed to you.

I discourage you not to use Valium and it is very strong.I understand that your friend give it to you. Do not just take it because, prescription is dangerous and the doctor needs to monitor you.I am sure it will take about 7 days to get out of your system. If you need to relax it is easy.I urge you shut your cell and telephone off. No television and close your curtain and stay inside and eat frozen food for a change. You have time to correct your thoughts. I am sure you do not need any dangerous drug in your body. Good luck and I wish you well.

Never, ever take medication prescribed for someone else. Not only is it illegal for both you and your friend to do this, but the dosage or the drug itself may be dangerous to you. Certain medications require a prescription for a reason.

Traces of it will show up in your blood, but I'm not sure for how long, maybe a day or two.

I hope you do not do this again! Why would you do this??? Did you know that it is illegal to give away, or accept, medicine that is not prescribed to you by a doctor? It depends on how fast your body flushes this drug from your system. In the meantime, drink lots of water, and drink dandelion tea; it's supposed to be good for detoxifying the body.

Some forms of drugs can stay in your system for up to 24-30 days. Normally with drug testing though, they look for illegal drugs. Valium is a prescription drug and may not even look for it. I agree, be honest if they ask.

Diazepams are one of the categories of drug (it is classified as an anxiolytic, not a "narcotic") that they usually test for in screening tests for judicial surveillance, insurance coverage or for employment. The "other day" is pretty vague, but it should be out of your system in four days or so if you took a normal dose, and below the level of detection in urine screens in about three days.

Hope that helps.

First of all it's not a good idea to take a narcotic drug from someone even if they are a friend. They should not detect the drug unless they are testing for it specificly. Different drugs have different residual times. As well as different doses.
