Hey mzrealeztate,
DNA tests for Male Surname cost $100.00. Here are some sites. The national geographic site is designed for the purpose you stated, except it is not free either.
Here are the adoption sites I know of also. You should be able to get your records. The Vital Records may help also.

No, there are not. DNA testing costs upwards of $300 if you are looking for close kin. Your lost relatives would have to get tested by the same company to make a match, too.
If you are adopted and looking for your bio mother, write to me via my profile and I will send you some links.

alma, adoptees liberty movement may help. my ma found
her birth family that way. she was 54 when she found them.
i thought i found mine. who knows. they really didn't want
to be found. there is a good movie about long lost relatives.
tomorrow is forever, starring orson welles and claudette colbert.
there a lotta kids, orphans of war, car accidents, stuff like
that. kids born on kibbutzes in israel. or elsewhere. and
their only real father is the State. like kids who went to
juvenile hall and stuff or reform school. foster families and
stuff. good luck. i probably have kids out there, i don't know
about too. i'm 55 now. i have a question about this on
this question/answer site.
