Song of Songs, Chapter 7, Verse 3

I didn't find your interpretation regarding - wheat between thighs.

Here are 2 alternative translations.

1) Thy navel is like a round goblet, which wanteth not liquor: thy belly is like an heap of wheat set about with lilies.

2) Your navel is [like] a round basin, where no mixed wine is lacking; your belly is [like] a stack of wheat, fenced in with roses.

The Song of Songs consists of a cycle of poems about erotic love, largely in the form of a dialogue between a bridegroom and a bride. The text, read without allegory as a celebration of sexual love, appears to alternate between addressing a male object of affection and a female one.

The part that you quoted is how the bridegroom see his bride, how beautiful she is to him. He describes her physical beauty from head to toe.

Its one of the best books in the bible in my opinion, because it talks about love!!!

Although I don't know the exact passage you are referring to, Song of songs is a story of 2 lovers so yes I'd venture that what you're thinking is correct.

It means that Israel has wheat and crops growing in the fields. This is a love song to Israel for all she has to offer.

I am not Christian anymore, but the SoS was sure fun to read when I was a child...haha...

Good thing they didn't break the Bible down into a rating system, as I needed it for "edification" during church when I was bored!

Anyway, I would say...it is synonymous with "the fertile area".

How old are you? Too young, it seems, to wonder about things like this.
