Well, I own a jeep but it's a liberty. I had a/c problems with it. My mechanic said that the thing that opens to allow water in wasn't opening all the way...(yeah, I'm not a mechanic so sorry I can explain it better) He said to keep it on the coldest setting and to keep the a/c on all the time. If I got cold then only change the fan control and not the a/c level itself. After the weather cooled off then it worked like normal. I had problems for 2 months when the weather was 105 degrees+. Well, I hope that helps

sounds like your fan oh that right wrangler fans are always on (drivebelt). Ok have you checked your 50/50 mix in your raidator. If not make sure it is full.If it's not full lets flush the radiator you might have got some trash in there and It may be getting stuck if not always a good thing to flush.
poor in radiator flush Don't forget to follow directions.Flush with tap water 3 times after you use the radiator flush this will make sure it is clean.
Now fill it up and give it a test run.Oh by the way get a different thermostat 180 is not good enough it opens to soon go higher.
This should take care of your problem and clean out the trash in your radiator. If it happens again don't forget to turn on the heat all the way.

If you have a new radiator it sounds like it could be the thermostat. Try a 192 instead. The 180 thermostat is going to be open constantly and the coolant won't have enough time to stay in the radiator to cool down. Also the brand of coolant does make a difference. I had a radiator flush and fill done on my Jeep. the new coolant was clear like water and I made them prove to me that it actually was coolant by checking freeze protection level. It still ran hot and I didn't like the coolant so I changed again myself to Prestone 50/50 premixed and it started running cooler. Hope this helps.

210 is normal operating temp. 180 is just when the thermostat opens. Your coolant-water mix should be 60%coolant 40%water for maximum protection not 50/50.

The fan clutch may be slipping. Have you watched to see if the fan is kicking on and running? The thermostat could be sticking also.
