So me an this boy are going out! See he isnt the cutest but he is such a sweetheart and we get along so well. He is a sport fan and he is right now playing Lacross and Soccer. He is really good and if i would have never meet him i dont think i would like Lacross that much. My question is that this year i am gonna go into 8th grade and i really want to go to the dance with him. but am afriad that we might not last that long. I really like him and i would never ever wanna leave him, but how will i know that he will stay with me?

It wont last, take my word. You both have a lot to learn and go through.
Do the best you can for yourself in every way for years.
When you are a mature adult- much older, you will be ready and with the perfect guy for you! In the mean time, DO NOT GIVE YOUR HEART OR YOU WILL BE SORRY -THAT'S A PROMISE! Have a goal to be something and be it. Become the best at it that you can be or switch your choice until you find out what you want to be.
To be pretty or his best friend, or the best @ sex that he's ever had, will never be enough. You must have talent, $, be independent & have it together.
You won't want to think all this is true but.. it is. If I was your age again, I would do what I am telling you to do. Heck, I'm doing it late, @ my age. There will always be far more opportunity for you that way, in every way. Don't smoke, never drink and drive, and everything in moderation.
Tips:
Leave mystery, don't be an open book for him, no matter what! Have other things to do other then him- he will like you more.
Even If he is your favorite thing to do.
Let him do things for you & always look your best.
Never show insecurity and don't use words that show feelings
EXAMPLE:NO- I feel like this, or I love you, etc.
Try this, you will see an immediate improvement. Men automatically feel more comfortable -A generalization, but true.
If you think he would have to be insane to leave you, he will think that too!
You are a prize to be won. Make $ and save it or buy yourself a hot car.
-THINK OF YOURSELF -YOU MAKE OUT AND HE WILL LIKE YOU MORE!! AND..
NEVER TRUST ANY FRIEND OF YOURS THAT IS A GIRL TO BE WITH HIM W/ OUT YOU NO MATTER WHAT!

In the 8th grade, youi're both to young for a lasting relationship, and barely old enough to go to dance. Just have fun and don't expect a lasting relationship, like you have to get attached to one puppy dog. If you do, you could drive yourself crazy, so to speak, with worry.

if u really know him, u will know if he has feelings for u. no one else can tell u. if they give u advice that you take, u may make things worse than they were meant to be.

just keep on being yourself, be honest, don't be unfaithful, you should be fine. don't think about losing him, the more you think about the more it'll get to you.
