In middle school, I made lost of friends in the begining. Now that I am entering high school, some of my friends and I have been split up into many different high schools. What is the Best advice you would give on making NEW friends from DIFFERENT middle schools. Even though you do not know ONE of them and most of them are African-American? No I am not being racist.

just try to be yourself. my advice would be to join a new club or sport in high school to mke friends with the same interests as you, that way you can meet some new people that have something in common with you and it will be easier to get along with them. I hope this helps!

Joining clubs and sports teams gets you in touch with classmates who share like interests with you.
Also, if there are those who live in your immediate neighborhood who you can 'hang' with after shcool and share homework and such, these often become good friends.
Look around the cafeteria at lunch time. Those sitting alone or in groups of two or three may be looking for friends.

Well, try talking to them about interests and homework if you have the same classes, you never know you just might click with them. Give it a try, you'll never know until you try. High School isn't that bad, TRUST ME!!!

Just try to be yourself. And if people try to get you to change, then they aren't really your friend. Remember- it's just high school. Once your done with it, you'll look back and realize that it's not that big of a deal.

Be friendly, smile, say hello. Chat with them - Did you have a nice weekend, What are you doing this weekend... Just be yourself, you had friends before, you will again.
