Anyone know how to changea battery on a streamlight survivor flashlight div. 2, with the O ring bracket?

I have already ordered the battery and removed the pins but am a having issues with the bottom bracket/O ring brakcet. It looks like flushed hexagonal screws are in place. I am wondering if you know of any ways to overcome this or am I just not buying the right battery per manual. the battery I ordered is for the correct model. Division II with O ring, but the battery looks different than the original.
