Outside the box is good. So is weird. But perhaps the over-reaction comes with the rudeness. Quite often that angers others because it indicates disrespect. No matter what question you're asking, it is always very wise to be tactful and polite. Perceived rudeness will be met with such.

There's rude, weird & outside the box, accepted. But if it goes beyond that, like trying to justfy your prejudices or attacking someone else's culture on here, unacceptable. I don't think you would openly do those things in front of the world when they could see your face. So why hide on here & try to insult others. I don't think people's responses on here to those things, count as overreactions.

I suppose it depends on how rude you are being, but weird or out of the box is fine by me, life can be rude, weird and outside the box.

I don't like the rude questions, but I seek the weird and outside the box questions because they are fun.

People overreact because it is a Friday night and they are on here answering questions instead of out living life. I feel your pain. I like to ask weird, over the line questions and people are always getting pissed and calling me stupid.

Weird or outside the box questions are one thing, but there are a lot of gross and rude questions that really... no one needs to go there.

there is no such thing as a rude question. a question is a question. the answerer can choose to answer curtly politely or report. its no biggy, most people who have half a brain like to see provacotive questions wind-ups and general pisstakes. who wants to know how long is a piece of string, i want to know what colour of knickers are the most popular with ginger minges. these are the important questions the world must ask.

Some people are just not very good at not letting other people push their buttons. It's sorta like people who go into road rage when someone cuts them off in traffic....they're taking something impersonal very personally. Unfortunately, it just tends to egg people on to ask more rude questions, so it's a vicious cycle.

People have feelings, to asks a rude question to insult someone what kind of reaction do you expect to get. I personally do not let it get to me because I do not care.

This is something that I am use too, so it is not a big deal...
