Baking soda is often refrigerated because it absorbs odors. If you want to use it that way, you need two because the one from teh fridge would be gross. I keep mine in a sealed jar so that it doesn't absorb moisture. Raisins also should be kept in a sealed jar. Dried food that gets exposed to air will mold.

If you put an open box of baking soda in your fridge, it will absorb all the odors and make your fridge smell nice. But you won't be able to use it for cooking.
But if you want to save it for later, then put it in an air-tight container and store in the cabinet.
For raisins, put them in an air-tight container or zip type bag and store in the fridge.
Oh... and send me some them cookies... lol

keep the baking soda in the fridge to absorb food odors. HOWEVER once you do this, you cant cook with it, the cooking would reek of food odour.
keep baking soda for cooking in a dry place, closed or in a sealed container.
Same as for the raisins, they can be kept in the bag them cam in for months. or put them in a sealed container. they are dried so will not spoil unless they get damp or bugs get into them.

No. Not unless you want it to taste like your icebox would smell. You can keep raisens in the icebox only for a short time.
