The best way to lose weight effectively is to change your lifestyle. Eat a variety of foods in smaller portions, and avoid "unhealthy" foods, especially those high in sugar, corn syrup, and the like. Giving up candy isn't a bad idea - dark chocolate is the only sweet with any merit in my book. Exercise regularly. For example, go jogging/walking for at least thirty minutes a day. Do things that get your heart going. You'll have to push yourself.

Even so, you might not reach your goal as quickly as you would like. It depends on your individual body chemistry. Losing weight faster than your body can handle can be bad for your health. To top that off, if you want to keep off the pounds, you'll have to stick to the healthy diet and exercise routine... pretty much forever.

At your age, you're probably still doing some growing and developing, so some of the commercial diets can be harmful. Just treat your body kindly and it will reward you. Please, please stay away from eating disorders such as anorexia and bulimia. In my opinion, that goes without saying, but I thought I'd say it anyway. Also, always eat breakfast. Skipping breakfast can actually cause you to gain weight.

That's about all I can think of right now. Good luck! :)

Walking is for old ladies. You have to run if you cant than walk fast until you can. Really push yourself with it though. Run 30-45 min and do some sort of waits, if you cant try push ups, sit ups, and lay down on your back rising your legs into the air (does the lower abs)

Best best is to join a gym, get a personal trainer even if its for a few days, what they can teach you will benefit you a great deal.

But still, ruining 30 - 45 min and doing a half hour to an hour of simple muscle groups, for 3-4 days a week will do you great.

As far a food, chicken, fish, egg whites are good. Fruit is good just before a work out (gives fast energy).

You could loos up to 5 pounds a week.

for one...let me start out by saying g o d dang your chunky for a 15yr old, how did you get that way?

ok two...the help has arrived....Several ways to drop the weight:

1.) Get on the Atkins diet, no pills, shakes nothing very simple, eat less than 20 grams of carbs per day, drink a minimum of 8 cubs of water a day, that's 8oz per cup. Not a drop of sugar, that means nothing that ends in "aclose", if you need something sweet, sweeten your food with stevia or splenda. Do this for a month and you'll loose 20 pounds guareenteed. Don't starve yourself though, An example day on this diet:

1.) Breakfast: 3 Eggbeater omelette w/ham, sausage and green peppers, onions, sprinkled with about 1/4 cup of shredded cheese. Large cup of Water.

2.) Mid-morning snack: Eat you an Atkins bar

3.) Lunch: Large Salad with radisishs, tomatos, bell peppers, a little shredded cheese (not to much), bacon bits (real), ect...any vegatable really can go on the salad. Dressing: Balsamic Vinagear and Oil.

4.) Mid-afternoon snack: Atkins bar

5.) Dinner: Fish, Lean meat like a steak, lean hamburger meat or turkey burger without the bun, some green beans or maybe some broccolli

6.) Couple of pieces of Russell Stovers Carb Free candies

Do not eat anything that has the color of WHITE, nothing! i.e. Bread, cereals, donuts, NO BREAD at all,

No fast food, french fires, dough nuts, pop and ice cream.
Replace everything with fresh fruit, lots of veggies and little meat. Drink 8 glasses of water a day, walk every day for an hour, and I mean a fast walk. Do not eat fat-free stuff, that is loaded with sugar and does more harm than good. Eat three meals a day
or 6 small ones, throughout the day to keep your sugar level up, that' s important. Eat breakfast at 8, have a piece of fruit at 10 , lunch at 12, yogurt at 2, fruit at 4, dinner at 6 and 1 cookie at 8 and that's it. You should have the cookie, treat it as a reward.
Good Luck

Eat healthy (DO NOT skip meals!), drink a lot of water, no pop, get plenty of rest, and exercise for 30 minutes (walking is great!) at least 8 times per week (heard that on Oprah), and stop eating at least 2 hours before bed. Good luck!

You are not losing 25 in 5 weeks naturally and keeping it off.

Start with a reasonable goal like 10-12 lbs.

well... yoga is super fun for activities and running isnt that fun but it REALLY helps lose the weight. For food... drink alot of water before each meal and that helps you get a little full before you eat. and celery is good because it takes more calories to chew it then it has in it sooo... you lose calories by eating it. and try to eat a big lunch and a small dinner.
good luck
