the Israel of today has nothing to do with the Israel of Bible times.
When will you people get it?
Israel rejected God's Chief agent Jesus, and thus rejected the fulfillment of the law.
Any doubt's?
Show me the legitimate Levites.
Show me the covenant animal sacrifices.
Show me the Temple of The Most High God!(:-o)

Sure do pray more, yet the natural Israel's are reaping
what they sowed when they rejected Jesus. Now another
people have been grafted in, those called: who so-ever
will. The natural Israel still rejects Christianity and is also
waiting for a prophet that will be the for-runner of their
savior, remember they rejected John before they rejected
Jesus. Soon they will be fooled by a false prophet who will declare their savior has come. We pray they find true
salvation with the quickness.

I would urge everyone to pull out their Bibles when watching the world news and search for TRUTH and pray for knowledge and understanding. If we know more about what is going on around us, we know better what to pray for and what types of choices to make (who to vote for, etc). God expects us to watch and be diligent.
As for Israel, prophecy tells us that God will bring his people back to him.

True Those countries that hate Isreal won't prosper. Perfect example is our neighbor to the south, Mexico, right next door to the U.S but a third world country, but then again they hate Isreal

They will always be protected...
You have to pray for anything you want (More speaking to your first response) and you are not a very good Christ follower if you don't follow what he teaches.
He teaches us to pray, you don't follow=not a Christ follower.
As for Jeruselem,
like you said, they are His chosen people.
:) They will be fine!

Can you do it for me...
I would hate to think that your god wouldn't allow peace unless it was prayed for...
Whatever did they do before they had the Bible to tell them to do so?
