yes masterbating is completely normal and EVERYONE AND I MEAN EVERYONE DOES IT, some more often than others. That is why they laughed because for one they know your lying and two because your embarrassed about it.

Sexual curiousity is normal, so for someone to masterbate, it is normal, but i don't think you have to masterbate to be normal.

You are supposed to masturbate at least once a day. No, it's a joke. But really, everybody masturbates, even married men. Specially married men. So many people masturbate that not masturbating is not normal.

Yes it is normal in the privacy of your room, just remember to lock your door, and like anything else do it when you are ready. Not when your friends tell you so.

some people masterbate, they are exploring their bodies, and how there bodies react to touching and feeling. for some its the greatest thing since coka cola. it is safe sex, but you do what is right for you, not what everyone else thinks or says.
