why do most muslims, including muslim converts hate the west?

i've noticed it.. ppl from america and other nations in europe and north america convert and they begin to criticise the west.. why? THESE PPL ARE FROM THE WEST!! what is so wrong with the west muslims?

it's not the QU'RAN i really hate.. it's more of parts of the koran i hate, and of course what ppl do.. they HATE the west, they KILL innocent gays and non believers, they blow themselves up, and so forth. that's what i don't like.

One thing that bugs me a lot is the general consensus of people today that lump all middle easterners in to one group of radical, white hating, suicidal killers. The fact is this ladies and gentlemen. I've been all over the middle east. I'm sure most people that are going to read this post have been to some large theme park at least once.... Great adventure, Disneyland, Six flags... etc. The point is, all of these theme parks have trash cans about every 20 - 30 feet, yet there is litter everywhere you look. In Oman, I never once saw a piece of trash on the ground... Anywhere. One reason Americans are so hostile is because of our capitalistic culture, and some people in this world believe that America is spreading this hostility, this capitalism, this debilitation, to other countries and places... And they are absolutely right. The harsh reality is or society and our culture is based on taking advantage of people, and kicking them when they are down. It didn't start way, but we've bastardized it to the point that the dollar speaks louder than any one American, or any one social group. I want my country back, and all you ****** ACLU lovers are ruining it for the people that believe in a hard days work, and leading by example.

This is just a guess. Muslims thought that the west is the bastion of infidels that needs to be eradicated. And what infuriates them is that these infidels have the upper hand in military technology, advanced living conditions, knowledge in all areas of science which confuses their own belief how these infidels are being rewarded by Allah more than those who sides with him against the infidels.

You know what? Talk religion and war is always just around the corner.

Most legit Muslims disapprove of other countries who allow women equal social rank in life; something highly frowned on my the Muslim faith, who believe women should be in the background, silent and submissive. For legit Muslims, this is only for them an tolerated annoyance. Black Muslims enter the faith as a means at controlling their racist angst eating at them within--they seek Islamic spirituality to gain a sense of harmonious peace. However, there are black Muslims who ascribe to Islam because they want to keep alive their racist hostilities and still enter a heavenly realm of reward.

They too have annoyances with America and allied countries.

Mentally deranged Muslims, al-qeadia (OK, so I misspelled it, big deal?) and bin Laden wannabes take the SAME mentioned annoyances....and amplify them into deadly feelings of violent strikes to have their "message" heard. It is these sickos who defile and defame true Islamic faith.

I do not know anyone who hates the west,we do not except or follow anything that goes against Allah,we do not choose to be like everyone else,but we respect humanity. and it is not permitted for us to hate a fellow brother or sister at all,not to even be upset with them for more than three days.therefore i feel this is just an opinion you have and you are speaking of somthing you have no knowledge on

they have their reasons, they hate the West because western press like magazines, tv shows,tabloids, news, newspapers etc sometimes potray the wrong idea, messages or image of their religion and makes fun of them through comedies, comics. So if you invested all of your faith into a religion that you have embraced and truly believe in with all your heart , then in comes a clown who makes fun of it and spread wrong information about it? shouldnt you be angry? it's only human to be if you ask yourself. look at all the replies coming in, i'm sure these shallow-minded people who speak negatively about Islam bought it from the press (they ofcourse sometimes do it with subtlety to set the spark, a durty deed can't be done conspicuously ),allow themselves to get overwhelmed and further exagerate it as the message gets passed down. please don't let yourself get confused between muslim extremist and the true Islam. you cant judge a few and apply it to the rest of the group, it called stereotyping. remember this, in every barrel there's always a bad apple. it's like that anywhere you go.

A. Our freedom - They look at people like Madonna and Sharon Stone and think most Americans are like that. To them, the only good form of governement is an oppressive intolerant theocratic regime that eliminates freedom of expression, speech and press by instituting Sharia Law.

B. Our wealth and Power - To a Muslim and to the "prophet" Muhammad, power was EVERYTHING. You do nothing in Islam WHATSOEVER if you do not have the political power to enforce your ideaology and spread it through war.

C. Our Alliance with Israel - This is a group of people that didnt accept Muhammad as a prophet from the beginning. As a result, he hated them with a passion; so much so that he exiled one tribe of Jews and even slaughtered another. Israel is not only their historical and theological nemesis but a tresspasser on what they believe to be "Islamic holy land."

D. Our past foreign policy - The extreme facist branch of Islam believes America needs to be brought low because we have tresspassed on the Holy land (1st and 2nd Gulf War)

E. Christianity - They hate us less than Jews but still hate us. We believe Jesus is the Son of God. In Islam, nothig is allowed to be called a partner with God, it is STRICT MONOTHEISM.

Islam is not a religion of submission, its a religion of oppression!

we hate the west governments! The west is actually very beautiful and high-tech! I live in the U.S by the way....we dont like people who say wrong stuff about our religion without learning the right stuff like Micheal C and Hands of just!...we dont like people who quote verses from the Quran out of context like Micheal C!
