Is love enough to keep a relationship together? I was in love with my ex but it wasn't enough to keep us together in the end. Jobs, finances and distance got in the way. We both still love each other though. I have dated other people who want the same things i do, but there is no real love there. What makes a relationship last? Can I have true love and all the rest too?

love is a big part of it but it is not everything there has to be trust and cooperation and a lot of other things that go along with that.. i just cant think of em off hand but there has to be support emotional and financial and i mean love is good but it wont do all of the work in a relationship...

I was in your same boat...I wish you the best. starting over can be hard, but the reality, is love takes a whole lot to make it work. Real life kicks in and you have to take care of yourself or else the relationship has to much stress on it and ultimately breaks. In due time you will find the one right for you and hopefully make it last.

No Love is not enough, i agree that u could love someone but the facts of life comes between you two. But try to work it out with him, i beleive if u r meant to be with someone u'll be with them regardless how far u r from each other.. Good Luck!

If all those things got in the way, then it wasn't love. Love surpasses all those things and lasts unconditionally. Too many people confuse Feelings and Lust with Love.

NO NO NO NO Love is NEVER enough to keep Anything together!! marriages and relationships SIMPLY out of love will not last. Please believe me - it is sadly true. DO not be fooled into believing into true love making you two stick together

Yes you can, but understand it's not going to happen anytime soon. it will hit you when you leaste xpect it, usually from the least likely source. Keep the faith.
