That is the biggest load o bull I've ever heard. I'm a christian who loves south park and other things with vulgar language. Its funny. Man!!!, God would not have created laughter if he didn't want us to use it. Whoever wrote that needs a wake-up call. I love fun. Maybe that's why people turn from God, Christians can be so sucky sometimes:)

this is rediculous. South Park is a hilarious show, and I know plenty of Christians who watch it and are still faithful to all there religious beliefs. Yes, it can be offensive, but lets be honest here, many times they are just being the voice of reason. What ever website you got that from is wrong. Christians are definately allowed to laugh. It's not like we as humans have full control of when we laugh and when we don't. It's a natural thing we do when we here something that we thought was funny. NOw, I guess some sorts of fun are not permitted in certain instances, as with all religions. Christianity, like many other religions, is firmly against sex before marriage. But it's not like Christians believe all things fun are evil. I would love to ask if the man who wrote that has ever watched a TV show and even remotely enjoyed it, or rode a swing set as a child. This is just an example of the rediculous lies and idiodic nonsense the internet is full of.

YES christians are just like every one else the only differnce is that weve discovered what every one needs the savior Jesus Christ and in him we have hope of an eternal life in heaven. Jesus loves us more than we could ever know so ofcourse he wants us to enjoy laughter that is the right kind and southpark is not it but there is other things on tv that are ok to laugh at. and once youve experienced a real relationship with Jesus you wont care to watch those things because with him we dont need the sin in this world becuase with him we are not a part of this world Praise be to God!!! Like I always say the best way to get your answer is to pray about it.

Oh sure. Maybe you've never heard of holy laughter. The attached link will give you video and audio of church services where people go there for the purpose of laughing -- to glorify God. The preachers lead them in a service of laughter.
Also attached is a blog by Anderson Cooper from CNN.

Yep we are allowed to laugh, God Laughs Psalm 37:13, Psalm 59:8,Psalm 2:4. As long as you aren't making fun of others. God has to have a sense of humor he made us didn't he. Have you ever laughed at yourself for doing something stupid?
South Park don't make me laugh either it is obnoxious and I wouldn't let my child watch it. You can have good clean fun and laugh. Life would be boring without laughter.

Of course, Christians are allowed to laugh, silly.
"A merry heart is like a good medicine", so says the Bible.
Most Christians just don't find South Park to be very funny.
The guy who wrote the article that has you so upset is a dork...but maybe he's just over reacting to what really is a rather vulgar cartoon.
I wouldn't want my grand kids to watch it.

"Make a joyful noise unto the Lord."
I firmy believe children are a gift from God. Think of one of the best laugh's you've heard - that of a child in full excitement and an adults "belly laugh". laughter is a gift and when used wisely, it helps elevate the activity of the heart (endorphines). Laughter, when used in honest, loving manners and not with malice, IS a gift!

That's ridiculous. Those people are so misinformed.
If you'd like to know whether Christians are allowed to laugh, come to our church some Sunday and listen to a truly inspired priest who speaks from his heart, makes us laugh and makes us believe that serving God is just the best we can do.

I don't know what site you got that from, but I figure that whoever said that had very little clue of what they were talking about. God doesn't want us to laugh at the perils of others or at stuff that will dirty our minds. But, he doesn't want us to be little stuffy ladies and gents on a church pew our whole lives, either.

Why shouldn't Christians be allowed to laugh? The pastor at my church is one of the funniest men our congregation has ever had. According to what I've been told, compared to the last pastor before him, he's a breath of fresh air.
