Cant we let eachother practice what we want, as long as no one gets hurt. I dont want any ANTI-POPE answers.

Because a fundamentalist mindset will never allow a society to fully support freedom to practice any religion. Instead, because a fundie mindset believes their religion is the truth, they want their beliefs integrated and supported by society, over other beliefs. If anyone believes theres is the only way, then -- game over -- there can be no tolerance of other religions from that person.

I love Pope Benedict. He is so like a grandfather in a way.

Insecurity and jealousy. Fear and control. That whole "My God is better than your God" type of attitude. Wanting to increase their numbers with more new converts, taking over the world, going to war in the name of God. The usual self-righteous fanatical excuses.

I would like nothing more. It seems like Christians are the worst about trying to force their belifs upon other people though. I get to say that though, because I am a Christian.
