it is a picture of himself it look like oil painting is there away I can put a picture online and see if there is one like it if so how do i put it online this is a picture of Vincent Van Gogh help me out with this one thank you or maybe it is a sculpture of him help please

Try ebay completed listings. If similar print sold in past, might have info on it. should be able to find it with van gogh self portrait in google.

Van Gogh didn't do any sculpting so if it's a sculpture it definitely is not a Van Gogh. If it's a painting that's signed either "Vincent" or "Van Gogh" take it to any gallery and the people there can tell you if it's a Van Gogh. If it is a painting and not a print and it is by Van Gogh it is worth a whole lot of money. Van Gogh was one of the most prolific painters in the history of oil painting and he did many self portraits--some of them unaccounted for.

You could go to the Musee' de Orsay on line to see their collection of Van Gogh. There are examples of Van Gogh at the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art on line. There is nthe Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam. Searching Vincent Van Gogh will get you many web sites of his art. Good luck. I have some of his work on Flickr.com. Look for VanGogh!
