How do i check my IM if i someone IMed me while i was off line?

You don't have to check it. As soon as you sign on you will get a box that appears with all of your offline messages.

if someone typed an instant message while you were off line,
you would see what they typed as soon as you logged on.

It'll have a message pop up, saying something like messages while your were out and such.

If your using yahoo, the message will be there when you come online.
