AH.. depression. Trust me, I've been there... about two years ago I felt the exact same way... I was very unpleasant to be around, and I didn't even realize that I was the way I was. I think it just takes time and a little effort on your part to try and realize that you're worth so much to more people than you realize. I always felt so bad for my best friend and my mom and close family trying to convince me that I am who I am and I am great just the way I am... but I know its REALLY HARD to believe anyone when you've got yourself convinced one way or another.
Just sit down and think about the way you feel, why you think you feel like that, and what you can do to try and fix it to the best of your ability. Maybe a change of scenery will do you good, or maybe doing something you haven't done in a really long time to help you get back to being yourself.
If you are really worried that something more may be wrong, or someone close to you suggests counseling or seeing a doctor, you should do your best to take their advice and try to get better.
You have to realize that no matter where you're at right now... things will eventually get better.. you just have to keep your head up. :)

I would suggest seeing your doctor immediately. This is a real sign of depression. If uplifting yourself with good thoughts and getting out of the house doesn't help, then you could possibly need anti depressants. These will help to lift your mood and make you feel somewhat better. You still may, however, need some counseling. See your Physician or Pastor soon. Hope you feel worthy of being YOU soon. I know there is good in everyone. I hope you find it in yourself.

It builds on itself. When you do something that makes you feel good about yourself, you feel a little better and just keep doing those things. Stay away from the dating scene for a while and concentrate on clearing up other things in your life like, clean your room, get a job, file paperwork, .....just clean up some things.
It could be a chemical thing also. Don't eat a lot of sugar and exercise. It will help, too.

I believe that you are severely depressed and should seek out a a doctor tht specializes in depression. It sound like you might need an anti depressant to help you get back on tract. Once you have gotten something to help you get back on tract, see if they offer self esteem groups in your local community mentalhealth center. There are self help groups such as
GROW grp, EMOTIONS ANONYMOUS, DEPRESSIVE/MANIC DEPRESSIVE GROUP. that you might find helpful. These groups are run by people that are struggling with some of the same issues that you are.
Until yu get to that doctor's appointment, you can start helping yourself by writing some simple affirmations. You know..I am worthy...I can do it....I am loved... etc. Whta ever those affirmations are, they are to helpyou speak positive words to your self and it will help your depression lift.
Good Luck.

I agree w/ the answers about going to church and going to the doc. I'd like to add to that.
1. Pray
2. Try not to hang around people who make you feel that way if you can help it. Some people you can't avoid but others, you can. I feel like that when certain people make me feel like that. So I either have to show them it doesn't affect me by being strong and not appearing to be affected (thus, they stop trying so hard) or by not talking to them if I don't need to (bad friend? dump them).
