He isn't doing it because of anything you did or didn't do. If you want to do something positive, talk to him about something other than that topic. Let him know you love him deeply and that you are old enough now to appreciate how important his example is for you. As a daughter, nothing can take the place of daddy's sterling example of how a man shows love to a woman. Say something like, "Daddy, I am so glad I have you because I know I will be attracted to a man who is just like you. A man who is faithful to his wife like you, and a man who loves his children like you love me."

Sweetie, if you were my daughter and said all of that to me, I would break down and weep. For your father, he may weep those bitter tears of guilt. You may help him to see that he is hurting people he never intended to hurt. If he is in total denial, you may need to get direct and tell him to his face "dad, you are hurting me. What kind of man do you expect me to fall in love with? It will be a man a lot like you!"

Depends. Do your parents actually still love each other or are they just still married for the sake of the child/children? Hell, maybe you should find out if your mom has ever cheated on your dad. If she has, don't tell her unless she's told him about her unfaithfulness. If she hasn't, tell her only after you've decided whether or not the resulting backlash is going to be worth it or not. If your parents are otherwise perfectly happy and this knowledge will ruin both of their lives, and yours, keep the secret. Sometimes things are better left unsaid. Besides, he'll probably slip up and get caught by her eventually anyways.

What do you think you could possibly do to rectify this situation? Don't put yourself in the middle. Just continue to love and respect both of your parents. They are adults as you are and they will both make and lie in their beds.

You need to talk to your Dad first and if he admits to it tell him to tell your mom or you will. If he denies it keep an eye on him and till you can prove it to your mom then tell her. Good Luck!!!!! :D

If your father is cheating you need to confront him. If he doesn't stop you need to clue your mother in.
