He was really clear to his apostles:
"When you go into a house, stay there until it is time to leave. If the people in the town will not welcome you, go outside the town and shake their dust off of your feet."
In short, spread the news of salvation, and if they don't want it, leave 'em be. Move on to someone who actually does want to live.

Those without faith need faith. After all Jesus many times accused his own disciples of not having faith. I think what you mean is "What does Jesus want us to do about those without BELIEF."
The only answer I can give is encouragment, invitation, and being a good example.
The time has come," he said. "The kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe the good news!" -Mark 1:15
All you can do is set the table for them, they have to come eat.

He wants you to love everyone and never ever preach or spread the word or try to convert. Don't be a christian, an atheist or anything -- just be loving. And don't strive to be loving -- just look to get your ego out of the way -- especially the thought that you need to do something to help others. I know your ego will NOT like this (people's egos didn't like what Jesus originally had to say) but it's the truth. Love (without any idea of you being the one trying to be loving) will speak volumes.

Jesus wants us to show them how to live a GOOD life by our example and to let our light shine.
We should demonstrate that faith, hope and love can change our world and theirs for the better.

Love them. It is interesting that you ask that question because if you have heard any stories about Jesus you would know that he went to the people that had little faith or social status and became friends with them.
In some cases, he overlooked those with faith or those that stuck to traditions. He knew they would believe.
In the Bible, it says that people pray to God saying, "I believe. Help me with my unbelief." Jesus loves everyone equally and his heart goes out to those who seek him.

Love them and pray for them. You can't make anyone have faith, God knows this, that is why he gave us free will. If you are asked a question about faith, God, the Bible, answer with love and respect and lead by example. It is their choice to believe or not to believe, you are just the messenger. God Bless!!

You are not an accident.
You were a thought of God before born.
Verse to remember:
I am your Creator.
You were in my care even before you were born. Isaiah 44:2a(CEV)
There is a God who made you for a reason, and your life has profound meaning! We discover that meaning and purpose only when we make God the reference point of our lives. The Message paraphrase of Romans 12:3 says, "The only accurate way to understand ourselves is by what God is and by what he does for us."

I agree with Lisa. Just leave them alone. Jesus did not force himself. He just speak. Those who would like to listen are drawn closer to him naturally. He did not force himself to the Romans or to the gentiles. Or in this modern times to me. I am being drawn closer to his teachings naturally like the sun kissing the earth with pure natural light. And I never go out and convert atheist to my side or the christian to embrace reincarnation or karma. If it's not their time let them go.
