that happened to me for awhile.
i was VERY constipated, and it got to the point where I couldn't have a bowel movement, and everything on my body hurt, and it was so painful. I finally went to the emergency room, and the doctor
gave me an ??enema, and I went immediately It was such a relief! I wasn't even embarassed.

If you've had difficult bowel movements, the skin is going to be sore for awhile and you'll see blood.

Drinks lots of water, and eat green veges and the nurse told me watermelon is the best source of vitamins.

I also take Dulculax stool softeners, and that helps me have soft stools.

If none of that helps, and it continues, I'd say in a month you should make an appt. with a doctor.

The answer depends on what color the blood is. If it's bright red then it could be hemorrhoids (internal or external), a rectal fissure (tear in the lining of the rectum from passage of hard stools), diverticulitis, inflammatory bowel disease, etc. If it is darker red/black it is caused by an upper gastrointenstinal problem. Either way you need to see a physician. Don't be embarrassed and don't get overly stressed until you know what the problem is. Good luck!

sounds like hemmorhoids.. i have this problem and i know how painful it can be.... preparation h suppositories work just fine... but first relax in some warm water for at least 30 minutes.... drink plenty of water to loosen your biles...hope you feel better--o if it worsens consult a doctor---- you may need surgery to help out... but it all depends on the severity... so go see a doctor..... good luck

You could have hemmoroids, or a small tear in the anus. Its complicated if you are constipated. Eat lots of fruits and veggies and drink lots of non cafenated liquids. It should clear up in a few days. If not, check with your dr.

It could be hemorrhoids or it could be an anal fissure or it could be something more serious. Either way you should get it checked. Never ignore unusual bleeding from any body opening.

Take care of yourself and see your doctor.
