how do you earn points on this "Yahoo answers"

Click on the number of points next to your name, it is a link to how you get points, and the points levels.
basically, you get 2 points for answering questions, and 10 points if the asker chooses your answer for the best answer.

(1) Get a Yahoo account.
(2) Sign in
(3) Go to answers.yahoo.com
(4) Click on the area of interest that you want to answer.
(5) In the question itself, click "answer"
You will gain 2 points for each question asked, and 10 points if your answer is selected as the best answer by the asker or the voters.

You can also get 1 point for voting for a best answer. Asking questions deducts points.
