I don't pretend to be able to answer for the universe.
But my experience is that Karmic justice tends to have to do more with ones over all attitude then the mere physical actions.

Karma mechanisms are complex. One Bad action could result on one bad thing happened or more than one. But sometimes bad Karma accumulates from some bad thing you do at the past or your life before. Have you ever meet a bad day when everything get wrong? That's it. Bad or good karma are like put one or some seeds in the soil. One, some or All of them will become a tree, if the situation supported(soil, climate etc). Seeds will growth to trees, and you will get the fruits. The more seeds big are possibility more fruits you got. But remember, You must becareful about the missconception about karma like it will continous until you fix it. When you get the fruits, the bad actions you did are over. The problem is will you make another tree ?

Technically, karma is when you do one bad thing, and nothing else, then only one bad thing will result as your bad experience in the future. So, it is more like a one for one deal. But in reality, due to our ignorance and delusion we really do commit many bad karma, whether less or more severe ones. And if you also did many good karmas, the later fruition of those little bad karmas may turn out to be just one experience of small fruition. The analogy is like small amount of salt in a cup will taste very salty, but a small amount of salt poured into the great river will not make the water taste salty at all. The salt (bad karmas) will technically still be in the river of great good karma. Karma is a complex fabic of interrelated conditions and events. What I have explained is only a simple one.
Take care.

Karma works in a way that let's you know why you did needs little tuning. Most of the time we are not aware our thoughts/actions are offensive. And karma is simply reversing the area you are insensitive and get your own dose of offensive treatment. So if bad things happen to you the right response is to accept it with love ad understanding knowing what happen to you is just a wake up call. Otherwise if your response lacks the wisdom and knowledge how karma works you'll only end up in karmic cycle(tit for tat). Jesus teaching is the best remedy to end your negative karmic cycle.

No big on Karma, but if you do bad stuff the negative will follow you around. Do alot of good things and have positive energy follow you instead.

I think that whatever amount of pain you cause with the first bad karma, it is going to circle around and cause you the same amount of pain back. That could be one large event or a chain of small ones, what ever it takes to equal the balance.

Happening to me right, well I think if you find a way to make peace with yourself and the people around you, that's a way of balancing your karma.

there is no such thing as Karma... there is such thing as do unto others as u wish to be done unto yourself. Karma is for buddhists who are confused and give special words to something as simple as do good to others.
