Love, lust - ahh it all gets so confusing when you're dating someone new. Especially if she's hot! Give the guy a break. Hey - there are worse things he could say.

I don't mean to be rude in any way, but if he's saying I Love You already, it's not a good sign. Although he may truly love you, chances are that he doesn't mean it and can just throw those words around.

I think it's also too soon to feel love for someone after one month. Love is based on trust, admiration, comfort, etc... Not things you can fully appreciate after a month only.

I guess worst things could happen to you...but just be careful, he might not be as sincere as you would like. But then again, I could be wrong....let's hope so....

Yes. I only said I Love You to one man in my whole life (15 years, but yeah. My life) and it was after 5 months of dating and countless interesting/serious conversations. We truly connected as a meeting of the minds.
Only when you feel you can truly LOVE someone, with all your heart, and would do anything for them, and crave their attention...should you say I love you. This may occur after a month (rare, but plausible). And this may not occur for years and years. Hope this helps!

I wouldn't grow distant. But I would question their ability to see the difference between like and love.

I would not necessarily leave the relationship, if all of their behavior indicated that what was being said was true. However, It is difficult to really know all of the important facts about someone's goals, values, behavior and lifestyle in just one month of dating. Therefore, it is important to SHARE your true feelings about your boyfriend or girlfriend at every stage of a relationship so that you can keep it real and no one is being deceived.

it depends on the person. me and my guy both said i love you after 1 day together. we've now been married almost 6 years. some people just know when they love someone right away. but others feel they need to weight. if you don't feel comfortable saying :i love you" than maybe you should wait until you do feel comfortable. best of luck

My guy told me that and that he is sooo in love with me. I didn't tell him back and still haven't. He finally stopped telling me. I was kind of distant for awhile emotionally, but I'm ok now. Still don't love him yet though. It was kind of weird for me though. I've never had that happen with someone I actually liked.

Oh, I can remember a couple of folks with whom I could have traded those words after a week. But very, very unusual. I'd back off big time if you feel rushed or think "Where did THAT come from?" You bet back off.

It would depend on how I felt about them. I would respect the fact they told me how they feel, but I would have to wonder how they could love me when they are barely getting to know me. I don't think I would pull away, unless I didn't really want to be with them.
