I need it for my suppressed 45acp commando carbine. Thanks.

The delisle commando carbine was a special silenced rifle used by the British in world war two. It was an enfield rifle rebarreled to 45 acp and fitted with a large silencer to make an effective weapon used to take out enemy sentries.

I used the rhineland arms conversion kit to convert my enfield to 45 auto. I also built my silencer after filing an ATF form 1 and paying the $200 tax. I am not a moron who breaks the law. To many people who answer questions here type without thinking. Details on the rifle and the kit are available on the internet.

Thanks Marten R and billj for the suggestions. I have not seen any folding enfield stocks in shotgun news before, but I will give it another look. I am thinking of adapting my existing stock to use an AK underfolding stock. I will try and forgo the pistol grip for now.

To itsa_fact_jack, my enfield carbine project was actually completed a short while ago. I am looking to modify the existing stock with one that folds. People like you, the ones who think the federal government bans silencers, and people who think enfields were never chambered in anything but 303 caliber need to learn to think before making fools of themselves on this website.

Valkyrie Arms makes a DeLisle rifle in various configurations one of which is their DeLisle 2000.A sort of modernized DeLisle which has a folding stock.I don't know if they would sell the stock seperately. Here's the link, http://www.valkyriearms.com/d2000.htm

EDIT,on closer inspection the Valkyrie Arms stock looks abit cobbled together.I'd make my own.Have a machine shop replicate the socket of the buttstock in steel or aluminum, extend it back squarely 3 or 4 inches, thread underneath for an AR pistol grip and thread two in the rear for an Ace Ltd. folding stock mechanism and modular stock. http://www.aceltdusa.com/adapters.htm . You could build a prototype with a block of zytel or wood and some rasps to get the dimesions and angle to suit you first. Best of luck,an interesting little project.

No, all the 303 enfields would be worthless with a folding stock because they were a bolt.

>>"I am not a moron"<< Then why would you start a conversion job without a stock for your firearm? You obviously don't even know where or if you can get one.

Never heard of an enfield chambered in 45acp.....something smells of bovine excrement.
