Take any of the following oils.....
Olive oil, coconut oil, or avocado oil, and apply to the hair, WHILE ITS DRY! Work it through from scalp to ends, cover with some type of plastic cap.. then take a towel HOT from the dryer, and wrap it around your head turban style..... Leave it on for about one hour, or even more for extra dry, damaged hair.
Wash your hair with a tiny bit of moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. Run your hair under cold water. Squeeze out the excess water and apply straightning/frizz serum to your hair. Apply to the ends of your hair, not to the roots, so that they don't get oily. You might want to add some mousse for extra hold.
Detangle any knots using a wide-toothed comb If your hair is really knotty, try using a detangling spray. Do not brush!
Pin up the top section of your hair and use the round brush to blow dry your hair. Hold the hair sections out taut and point the hairdryer down to dry it. Do this section by section, so that your hair is completely dry. You may want to then dry up the hair, from the neck to the end of the strands. This makes it easier to get the hair on the back of the head.
If you have decided to use a hair straightener, put your hair into sections again, and run over your hair with the straightener. Grip one section of hair. Clamp the flat iron onto the top portion of the section. Slowly, move the iron down your hair. Repeat up to three times.
Brush hair, and finish off with a small amount of serum.

Tips
Before you get out of the shower, rinse your hair with cold water. This will make your hair extra shiny!
When blowdrying your hair, make sure the hairdryer is pointing down, so that all the hair folicles point down, which equals super shiny hair, which is the look we're going for! Also, before blow-drying, consider applying a heat protection spray.
Don't use too much hair serum or hair products, because you don't want your hair to look lank and greasy.
Some good products to try: Chi Silk Infusion or Redken Smooth Down, Nexxus Heat Protexx.
If your hair is fragile, use a low setting on the iron. If it's thick and unruly, make the heat almost the hottest it can be.

Warnings
Don't brush your hair when it's wet, because it stretches and breaks the hair. Always use a wide-toothed comb.
If you're in a rush and need to dry your hair, don't take the easy way out and use your hair straightner when it's wet. See that steam coming out? It dries out your hair. Always use a hairdryer prior to straightening.
ALWAYS use heat protection spray or else your hair will get damaged from straightener.

I have extreely curly hair and I live in a very humid enviornment. It took me years to get this answer. First..you need to trim your hair often. Split ends can cause major damage to your hair and make instant fly away friz. Also, using a hair dryer is really the worst thing you can do when you want to avoid friz. Next, do use alot of product in your hair just after washing it. Use a product that is rated at least strong for hold. Finally if you really want to style your hair straight you have a couple of options. There is a product called Sexy Straight you can get at CVS stores that works wonders when using a straightening iron. If you are looking for a more permanent solution, there is a new process out that adds conditioner in as it straightens your hair. You can get this process done at fine beauty shops but be prepared to spend alot of money. Good luck!

Use an anti frizz hair product like Rusk Str8t or John Frieda No Frizz, than blow dry your hair straight. You could also use a hair straightener/flat iron.

Try a Maxiglide, it steam straightens your hair. I have wavy hair that gets frizzy when humid, when i use the maxiglide with a little Citra Shine hair serum my hair is so smooth it looks natural. The maxiglide is like $80. I think you can go to maxiglide.com or something like that. But it works best after your hair is already dry, so I usually wash before bed, and it takes like 20 minutes in the morning to straighten, and I have long hair. its the best straightener.

For frizzing and getting it straight you might want to use a frizzing serium and than if u get your part and put water on it than it should be good but otherwise ... for straigtening u should probably get a hair straightener not a cheap one but a more expencive .... the more u pay for it the better the quality..... you get what you pay for

I have frizzy hair too and have fought with it for years. Recently I found Super Skinny from Paul Mitchell. It is the only thing that has worked for me ever. I use the shampoo and conditioner, but what REALLY does the trick is the Super Skinny gel. Try it!

You need to use products that are for frizzy hair. Sunsilk has some good products that are inexpensive, but if you can spend more money you will get great results from Nexxus, Biosilk, or Matrix.

Try John Frieda Frizz Eaze products. He makes a lot of different products for different purposes in that line, and they all work very well. I think it's exactly what you're looking for.

John Frieda's FrizzEase products are GREAT.

Sebastian also makes some nice stuff - takes a bit of experimenting, though.

GOOD LUCK! GO NOW!!!

MAY THE STRAIGHT BE WITH YOU!
