I want to learn how to stay fit and eat right.

What you need to do, is take a mile run anywhere, in the morning. Then you should drink milk, and eat vegetables everyday. Try doing a sport that keeps you active. If you keep this up. You will lose weight.

Eat healthier. Instead of ice cream for desert, eat sugar free popsicles or fruit. Work out at the gym. For children, you should only lose... 6 pounds a year. the next year, you should gain 12. then lose 6. then gain 12.

For adults (when you PMS to age 70) you should lose twelve and gain 10. lose 12, gain 10.

Dont diet, that is the first thing. Instead, think of it as a life style change (change your eating to something realistic that will last for your life, not be temporary). Dont deprive- eat what you want but in moderation (portion control is key). I can tell you I lost a lot of weight by not eating fried food, chocolate, cheese, and I cut out soda. I still eat these foods, but in moderation. Then I added exercising... cardio is the best. Pilates is low impact but high intensity (good for days you dont want to break out in a sweat). Good luck.

Join Weight Watchers or Nutri System so someone else is your boss and enforces your habits. Eventually you will be so scared of gaining weight again that you will follow their advice by the book and stay healthy forever.
