Are you saying dissent is unpatriotic? If so I disagree. Part of what makes American a great country it the voices of all its people and the right to debate and criticize our government. Otherwise we might as well live in China, Cuba, communist Russian, all countries that demand unconditional patriotism and deny their citizens dissent. Surely you aren't suggesting that the US should be more like these countries so that you don't have to hear people disagree with your own views. That would be so un-american of you!!!

You don't have to like the war to be an American! I don't like the war. I think Bush needs to get us out of there but I still respect him because he is our country's leader. To be an American means that you will respect our leaders, stad up for our country, and live a free life.
