Those suits are dangerous, be sure to drink alot of fluids as they suck it all out of you, too much sweating with them. Your body is working double time, to cool off because of the suit, and working out, it's too much, they're not recommended by any professional I know.
Several pounds a week is considered healthy and normal.

Well, they say it's not normal to lose more than a pound or two a week. But look at this way...are you changing your eating habits? are you going to keep up that exercising once you lose the weight you want? If you don't change your diet and get yourself into a regular exercise routine, you will gain all that weight right back, because once it's off, you won't keep that pace up. But right now, make sure you drink lots and lots and lots of water. I'd go for at least 14 glasses a day or you'll end up in the hospital from severe dehydration (and it happens very quickly).

I actually lost about 60 pounds with one of those. As long as you drink plenty of water, you should be okay Just make sure that when you've reached your goal to stop using the suit and just workout a few times a week to maintain your weight loss.
GOOD LUCK

You need more than water. When you sweat, you lose precious minerals. Along with water, you should be taking in some extra salt, potassium, calcium, magnesium and other vital minerals. See a local nutritionist or a Chiropractor that handles supplements, they usually carry some good multi-mineral formulas.

It isnt that bad, just remember to take multivitamins and still eat, get some nutrition, however if you areolder and you lose weight to fast your sking wont have the time to bounce back, so moisturize and lose weight slower so you wont get saggy skin or stretch marks

That's too much weight loss i think, you've probably lost mainly water from your body, you should just take it easy and exercise and eat sensibly and in moderation.

No it is OK to lose retained water fast. You are getting rid of anti--water. See this site for more on this.
