would you give 13 year old child drugs or alcohol just because you don't want them to do it behind your back ? my mom made me do this when i was 13 yaers old.

my parents allowed me to drink at home and holidays.but that never stopped me from going to parties. I would never let my children drink in my house and educate them about what can happen at parties. They have been studies that have shown the younger a child is when they start drinking the more likely they are to go to parties and maybe even become acholics.

No way, this is not the way to go about this and you could get into serious trouble if someone found out and reported you. Talk to your children and let them know how dangerous these things are. Talk about peer pressure and make up some skits and act them out, make it fun but serious. Knowledge is the key.

no way i would not tell anyone to do this at 13 my mother let me smoke infront of her at 16 and drink around the same time but she did not hand it to me i think your mother was wrong to give you the stuff at 13

my dad did the same thing to me. when i was like 7 he would offer weed to me. I refused at that early of an age and i didn't actually tryi it till i was in my 20's. I think it is very bad parenting though.

if it is their choice to do it. i'd rather have my child drinking alcohol (or smoking weed) at my house rather than drinking and driving with friends. so yes i would. but i would never force them to do it.

But this is what Dr.Sears teaches. He teaches kids are mini-adults and we need to just be their bestest friend. Substitute the alcohol with breastmilk, and it will counteract the weed they smoke anyways. Duh. Dr.Sears said so.
