I saw an interview with the PM of Lebanon today. He said that Hezbollah was made up of Lebanese people. He also said that "disarming" Hezbollah wasn't the right term. Will the UN forces be working alongside terrorists?

Arabs have the ability to meld right in. Today, they can be working for Iran as a member of Hezbollah. Tomorrow, they can show up as a Lebanese soldier, the next day as an ordinary civilian, the following day as a Catholic priest.

These guys are like chameleons, they can become part of the wood work if they choose. That's why it is so hard to totally eradicate them, although Israel would sure like to, can you blame them?

Hezbollah is probably a large percentage of the Lebanese army. With the French having such a large influence in the UN force how can You expect any positive results. The fun part will be watching the French run when Israel starts kicking *** again. This time I hope they take over Lebanon and Syria. Iran should catch a little destruction too. The rest of the world has ripped Israel off but will pay dearly in the future. The UN is a big waste.

Can you see a US Marine joining the New York National Guard and considering it anything but a major comedown? Much as the government of Lebanon would like to believe that the Hezbollah is loyal patriotic organization they are not. They brag about their international membership, their devotion to Iran and their attacks against Israel after being specifically asked by the Lebanese government not to. The UN will find that as long as they don't get in Hezbollah way, in other words don't do their job, the will have no problem but if the try to carry out their duties they will be fighting with a terrorist organization. The UN forces will be mandated to fire in their own defence and if the try to fulfil their mandate they will be fired on.
