Give her some Tylenol, cold washcloths to chew on and Ambesol for her gums. Popsicles are OK, but you must be careful that she doesn't choke on a piece that she bites off.

I have always used cooling powders, get ashton and parsons ones from the chemist to rub on gums it works quicker and also dr.Sheffields teething gel works fantastic.... I swear by it and i have 5 children, if u can get hold of it then get some it contains BENZACAINE well a mild dose of it and it is the stuff that dentist's use to numb ur gums wen u having work done on teeth.Use a little nurofen for children too to keep temp down wen she is getting real upset!
Hope this help's u!!

oral paracetamol for babies then gel and anything cold, the tooth not only hurts as it cuts the gum but they can develop a temperature and flu like symptoms so the liquid painkiller is a massive help poor baby i hope it passes quickly (also as a note nappy rash can occur/get worse also when teeth cutting for some babies so keep eye on any soreness there also) buy a teething ring that is water filled that can be put in fridge/freezer,,they a total godsend. good luck xxxx

give baby calpol for the pain.but you must never give more than four doses in 24 hours.also calprofen, ibrofen childrens medication is good..and a teething toy put in the freezer and hold against affected area.yes teething is painfull as the tooth has to push up through the gum.there are soft gums and hard gums.if baby has hard gums then its more difficult for the tooth to push through.

NEVER GIVE MEDICINE TO A BABY UNDER 3 MONTHS UNLESS A DOCTOR TELLS YOU TO.

mum of four. good luck

Put her in her high chair and give her frozen french fries! Just let her gnaw the heck out of them! My granny was a firm believer in Jack Daniels! I nearly had a stroke when I came to get my son and she was at the kitchen table with a bottle of Jack, wetting her finger with it and rubbing my sons gums. It works!
And you can get one of those teething rings that have liquid in them and freeze them, the ice cold is the best for their gums.
My boys liked the fries the best!!

ahh bless the joys of teething!poor little baba, they get themselves into such a state.my boys are 6 and 12yrs i used to use bonjella, and i found these really good teething powders, parsons?not sure of name.but they are made from natural ingredients and have been made for more than 100 yrs so they must be good!just ask your pharmacist at the chemist for teething powders.you just tip them on to there tongue and they always worked for my babies.hope this helps.p.s.i could never get them to hold anything cold to put in there mouth so i don't think that this works!good luck x

What i used for my two children was Aston and Pearson's teething powder i think is is excellent and I've recommend it to some mothers at my sons school and they have said how great it is as well.It comes in a little white box with blue writing on it,you can get it at boots, savers or super drug.I really think you should try it.Hope this helps!

Oh happy days. I was getting fan mail from Bonjella for all the teething gel we bought. Ice cream is a good one to try. Someone said to try marmite as the taste grabs them. None of her children ever liked it since, though. That is the stage that they want to bite on something like US. Calpol sometimes helps.
I wish you well.

all children react differently to it. my son was very difficult when he was cutting his teeth and we had months of it before one even showed up and then they all came very close together.
i used calgel (made by calpel people) and teething rings that i kept in the fridge.
i also used this thing (i think avent make it) its like a dummy but has a curved soft bit to go in the mouth with little bobbly bits on it, it works by massaging their gums as they suck it like a dummy. i also used to use it as a way to get the calgel on his gums, smear it along the plastic bit and put it in his mouth and then it goes on the gums because my sons gums were very tender and wouldn't allow me to put my finger in his mouth to apply gel
