There's no definite proof that smoking marijuana harms the body, most medical minds will completely disregard it as a harmful substance. However studies have been performed that try to link marijuana with disorders like psychosis, saying that smoking it will increase our chances, but there is no real proof that it is smoking marijuana that triggers psychosis in the patient and it wasn't just a predetermined stage in their mental health that was unrelated to the patients use, whether the patient had never touched marijuana or they were bob marley! Hope this helps

1 joint = 1 pack of cigarettes. Pot is bad for your lungs, but as far as the medical aspect, it helps the mind to relax. It weakens inhibitions and stimulates eating. When cancer patients are going through chemotherapy, radiation, etc... they become nauseated and have a difficult time eating. Marijuana relieves this which is why it is used medically. Also, the fact that it is something natural (a plant) as opposed to a man made drug (Ecstasy for example) is an important point to take into consideration.

I'm not sure if it is harmful but just about any medication has some form of a bad reaction... allot stuff will affect your liver or kidneys.... And since you inhale it into your lungs like cigarette smoke I'm pretty sure that it will have some affect on your breathing... It does kill brain cells.... then again so does soda...Good luck finding a good answer... Ask a doctor....

If the USA were to abandon its war on drugs and legalize it as it
did after the failed prohibition of alcohol, there would be a huge
loss of employment by federal, state & municipal agencies..
