How do i do my hair like my avatars?

I have enough hair to work with but i'm not sure how to do the top.
Any ideas?

Ok brush back the top of your hair and put a bobbypin in it. I wear my hair like that all the time. Easy way and soooo cute!

you know if seen people wear their hair like that but i have no clue how they did that
